Assistance League of Pomona Valley is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer organization that has been serving the community since 1946 and is providing these services:
- Operation School Bell® provides new clothing to low-income and homeless school age children and toddlers. Even during the pandemic, over 1,400 children received socks, underwear, jeans, shirts, and jackets in 2020. In addition to clothing, ALPV provides books to children. Since 2013, over 6,000 books have been distributed.
- Dental Center provides routine and emergency dental care to uninsured children and adults/seniors, from low-income families, that they otherwise would not be able to afford.
- Assault Survivor Kits® provides new clothing, toiletries, and other items to victims of trauma or assault. Kits are assembled by members of ALPV and distributed by Project Sister.
